about

Little Insects has been my (who am I?) music recording and performing project since Summer 2008. Live performances also include Matt and Jesse Sklar (on bass and keys respectively) as well as Don Lavis on drums.
In 2010, I recorded the project’s debut album, Almost Ghost, and released it via CD and online music retailers. A series of EPs and internet releases followed, but they are no longer available online.
In late 2011, I self-released the project’s second album, Brighter Than Darkness. Unlike Almost Ghost, in which I play and sing every part, Brighter Than Darkness featured performances and contributions by several of my friends.
My music has been described as “anti-charisma taken to absurd lengths” by the Village Voice.
